"When I was a youth, my dad was invited to be the guest speaker at a retreat in the Colorado Rocky Mountains for a week. Lucky for me, he got to bring the whole family with him. The director of the camp learned from my parents that I had a healthy dose of Wanderlust, so he sat me down and gave me two ground rules for my time there on the mountain:

1. I must always stick to the trails, and not leave the worn mountain paths.

2. Don’t drink from the stream down-river of the horses. (VERY sound advice!)..."

For the rest of the story behind Fire River I, please see my gallery or the final picture in each shop listing.

All my giclées:

  • Are made-to-order using pigment-based, water-resistant ink with UV protection, and are printed on acid-free 410 g/m2 canvas. My giclées meet the highest standards of environmental safety, as art should be inspiring—not toxic.

  • Are hand-stretched onto sustainably-sourced pine wood because Lisa Hewett Fine Art is more than just my business, it’s a way to help and inspire others (https://trees.org/).

  • Include 1.5 inch gallery-wrapped with mirror-image edging,  a level and the correct nail and art hook (to save you a trip to your toolbox or the hardware store)

  • Each Limited Edition giclée includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to guarantee the authenticity of my work. Please keep the COA and the included invoice with the giclée for the provenance of the artwork to ensure its long-term value.

SHIPPING: All giclées have Free 4-6 week shipping to the contiguous United States, Alaska and Canada

NO RETURNS: My giclées are in mint condition and are archival quality. Thus, all sales are final to keep the quality of my art from being compromised. However, in the exceedingly rare event that the giclée canvas itself is damaged (torn) during shipping, please contact me immediately. I will have you provide me with photographs to support an investigation and a refund to you.

Care of your Limited Edition giclée:

1. Handle the artwork by the canvas stretcher frames with clean hands.

2. Though inks are water-resistant and UV resistant, please keep your giclée away from direct sunlight, heat, or moisture sources including, but not limited to: shower/bath areas, sneezing pets and your morning coffee.

3. Your giclée should not need cleaning, but you may very gently use a soft, DRY microfiber cloth to lightly wipe your giclée.  It’s best to wipe gently in one direction, not in scrubbing circles.
